Staying on the boat last night at Cobbs Quay, however with the wind getting up somewhat yesterday a yacht a couple of berths up had some manic halyard clanking going on.
I wouldn't mind normally but I really struggle to sleep with noise like that (especially when each time the wind dies down for a bit you think it's stopping and relax but then it re-awakes with a greater fury a few moments later) and with having to get up at 6.30am this morning I finally cracked at about 11pm and asked the night dockmaster if there was anything he could do.
Was much more in hope than expectation with it being dark, wet and windy. However about 30 mins later the clanking stopped. Impressed. Thanks for sorting it Neil.
