There is a question about people working on their own boats as to owners . The contractors have to have insurance to cover any damage to 3rd party, where boat owners won’t have insurance , won’t have electrical equipment pat tested , won’t have access equipment checked properly . I don’t want to stop people working on their own boats but if there was a serious accident. The marina would have some responsibility as it is on their premises . Just say some one is grinding next to my boat and it damages my hull what happens.

I am not sure about that. You arent allowed to reside in harbour water much less the marinas within it without at minimum £5 million 3rd party. (albeit they have turned a blind eye to those with only 3 million according to standard contracts offered by some undertakers who dont provide a 5m standard / class and size of boat)

I bet that's true too. I've followed him a couple times. That's all it took for me to realise his navigational skills are wholly dependant on crew advice.

Yes we followed the HS MANANANN in a force 4 , keeping 40 knots.
