They are usually rentable from the beach sup rental people, especially if they have a Hobie flag. My wife had several goes on them before we purchased. We’ve never used it as a plain sup, but we usually have an inflatable sup on the boat for that purpose. But with increased age comes shoulder problems which makes paddling harder, plus these are faster for people of our level of fitnessAh thanks for the info Bouba. I haven’t seen those before (NTS: must spend more time on internet!). They look good. I guess you can use thrm as normal SUPs if you do not attach the hi-tech parts.
