Haydn got there before me - I think tunneling is the answer. I don't fancy carrying that mud out hidden up my trouser legs, but we've got to get rid of it somehow.

It would be interesting to see how your stockings fare.

I suppose you could always pretend to be Nora Batty as you shuffle up the access ramp with your ankles dragging on the floor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Incidentally, do you have a computer each, or do you take it in turns?

I was thinking about organising a PD cruise to Conwy and then teasing you Conwy inmates with spectacular displays of boating skills. Well, just going ahead and astern should impress you mud bound lot.
 
Yep but you might be quite alarmed when we just pop out of the tunnel, no doubt MF's smoking endevers would be much improved and your boating skills would be dwarfed, well sort of blanked out or sunk really.
 
yep we've paid. There is an on line info that tells you, apparently, I can't find anything sensible. Anyway going to join the CMBHA or CLAMYDIA association for short , gives you benefits on meals at the Mulburry, water taxi at reduced rates & 3p per L off diesel. Not bad for £5 per year.
 
Do I assume from this thread that the gate still ain't fixed? Please tell me so. That way I don't have to waste money phoning the marina & I won't have raised expectations for this weekend.
 
Dunno either, but it wasn't working on Monday - They were allowing about 20 minutes at each end of the tide for access.

Hang on, I'll ring them.....

Access / egress times for the coming weekend:

Sat 06:30-11:30 no evening access
Sun 06:30-11:15 no evening access
Mon 07.00-12:00 no evening access
Tues 07.45-13:25 no evening access

Thereafter, normal service will be resumed !!??! ("Well that's what we're aiming for")

I phoned them as well, said they were hoping for all the workers to have left the site by next week. Obviously it is still on going.

Not only the drivel, but a mountain of PM's as well, and I'm still none the wiser.

However I have gleaned, that, not happy with M Farters 20mm hawsers, he's dug out the massive pale blue 30mm one and used that as well! She must be sat there looking like a trust up chicken. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I am being lifted on Monday and was hoping to burn off half a tank of fuel but can't imagine that we will get out with the forecast!

I think they do, 'cos I queried same opening time two days running (Doh!) and she said it was because of the clocks going back, and said it had 'got' her too.

I won't be down this weekend, but good luck to those that are!
