No squabbling family for us this year, SWMBO is on her way to Amaya to ready her for our Christmas cruise. Passage plan is to slip out Wednesday morning and return some time in the New Year. Recklessly unconcerned about the weather or our eventual destination. Will make sure tea bags are in-date, and turkey well strapped down for passage. She's fuelled and watered, heating is in fine fettle and we're raring to be off.

This is a new one for us, although sailing at New Year has become a bit of a tradition for the past few years. Best wishes to all, hope to be back in Solent New Years day if anyone else around.

What's this, I am now ashamed of myself. It is summer here and winter there and you are still going to beat us out of port!!!!!!!!!

We are off first or second week of Jan with any luck, but I have not even tried to get the sails on the boat yet as it has been gale force winds in the marina last 3 weekends.

Enjoy yourselves

Regards

John

Hi there John

Look forward to looking at your passage data, more on this in the New Year as Amaya's new and sophisticated 'Spy' is taking shape...

Fair winds and hope you enjoy your cruise.
