Great day\'s sailing

Had a cracking sail across to Cowes from Gosport yesterday - only saw about 7 other boats! Had the Yacht Haven to ourselves virtually and the pubs were mostly empty. Why don't more people keep their boats in for the winter - surely it's the only way to get some value for money from them at S Coast's mooring charges.
BTW also saw Mirabella V moored at Gunwharf Quays so she is back on the water again.

Yes, it was a beautifull day on the water here too with pleasant sunshine a few miles off shore. No other boats other than one trawler heading out and live entertainment for half an hour by a school of dolphins. Beats putting her up on a cradle anytime.

Glad to hear that some of us are still getting out, I want to pop over to France next weekend, only Ramsgate to Calais, so hope the weather holds!!!!
