Great Canal Journeys

Anyone else watched the two recent episodes where Timothy West and Prunella Scales were cruising Sweden's lakes and canals. I had no idea the waterways were so extensive and beautiful. Would be a great place for an extended summer holiday if it wasn't so far away.

We did. I like that part of the world anyway as I used to work in Stockholm itself. Norway is also a very close second in my opinion but with the same constraint - its too far away! It would probably be prudent to hire something when over there instead?
