Bought a minigun, no marine grease cartridges available. Best way to fill please without grease going everywhere? Can I heat grease to make it run?

You remove the top with the lever by unscrewing. With the bar at the other end of the cylinder in the shortest position put the threaded part in the tub of grease.
Then pull the bar handle out on the non threaded end and it will suck the grease in.
You should be able to hook the filling bar in the outer position so that you can screw the thing back together. Then release to filling bar and put back in (if it is that type).

It is best to separate the 2 bits and practice to get the feel of how it works.

Normal grease is not meant to go fluid when hot.
To fill as suggested in #2 is correct but you need a large tub of grease & most DIY people do not need such a large amount. It is also messy & takes practice. You can spoon some in by placing a plastic straw down the barrel to release air then using a filler knife push some grease in to the barrel.
Quite honestly you might be better off accepting the mistake & buying a grease gun for which cartridges are obtainable. It will not break the bank & will save a lot of hassle. Get a flexible spout while you are at it.

Thus type of tub is the best to use with the mini gun.
It has a plate inside that has a hole in the middle. You put the tube over the hole and gently press while pulling the filling bar out.
A full size grease gun would take over 10 years to empty if just used on one boat.
If loaned out it would not be returned as you will forget who has the dammed thing.
