Hi East Coast Boaters. Just to let you all know that the half tide landing at Gravesend Sailing Club is now operational. The culmination of 5 years work, it will invigorate the club by providing easier access to the river, and will allow all you sailors who often hang off our moorings to and from London waiting for the tide, to come alongside. It is strictly half tide, so no drying out please, but look forward to seeing you all. We do have a half tide mooring available, details from the club website. www.gravesendsailingclub.co.uk.

That's good news hope it's a success.

I enjoyed a couple of pleasant evenings on your visitor mooring last year and was made to feel very welcome when visiting the club. Worth a visit if anybody is considering somewhere different a little closer to the Medway than the usual destinations.

Thanks Dave. We had the official opening last Saturday, and it was great to see so many boats alongside it, people stepping ashore and walking up to the club after all those years of vertical ladders. Come visit !
