Only weekend in January that I'm comitted to is the weekend of 25th 26th & 27th for Louise' birthday but I'm happy to go along with Jims plans at any other time , unless he fancies organising to coincide /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm not particularly bothered about being the organiser /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Spoke to a lovely lady a while back and intended checking it out in person , the family here are rather keen so may be forced to partake a pint , just to check the place out you understand /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif and accomodation seems pretty sprightly
More than happy for you to take over the organising though /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif it's something that always gives me headaches anyway /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif but Louise' family will probably not be too keen on anything further away /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif they're ditch sluggers after all /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
 
How many rooms available on the night you have in mind? Block booking deposit/discount?
Have they a private dining area?
Go see it and have a gander at the grub....

I think maybe I have earned a rest from the organisation bit.

When I spoke to them all rooms were vacant but I didn't go into the question of block bookings or discounts , told you I was crap /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Yes they have a seperate room that is available , we were thinking of booking a bit of entertainment , otherwise it's the main restaurant with other guests and whatever entertainment they had going , prob a cd playing in the background but I was going to check it out
As for earning a rest from organising , I think you do a bloody good job of it and whilst I don't mind organising a small family gathering I would appreciate it if you would take it on if the venue suits requirements
