I have a Garmin Handheld GPS 76 and wish to connect it to my IC-M411 VHF. What sort of cable do I need and from where to acquire - any thoughts? - thanks

You will need one of these

the cable plugs into to your garmin and has 4 bare wires the other end, 2 for power and 2 for NMEA out. Connect the NMEA out to the NMEA in on the radio. Make sure the garmin is set to outout NMEA 0183, the default output is Garmin
