GPS possible outage over the next few days or long

Read this http:// http://www.metcheck.com/astronomy.asp it looks like the Earth and everything that orbits might well take a high energy battering on a scale larger than the wife out with your credit card in the next few days, I am guessing that if it does happen the old GPS system might well become a cropper?

Anyway, just thought I would warn you guys.

There have been a huge group of sunspots going on over several days now, and some effects have already been reported, though this is the biggest of the bunch

Would be great if the effect was big enough for the Aurora Borealis to be seen in Southern England
