I've recently bought a new DSC vhf (Silva S10) and interfaced it to my GPS, all seems to work fine. However the positon shown on the VHF is a few minutes and seconds different to that shown on the GPS, this is standing still /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
My GPS is set to WGS84 true, but does it automaticaly send NMEA in another format regardless of the display setting or is there another reason for the difference? its not far out but I expected them to be exactly the same, anybody else noticed this?

Shouldnt worry - as I understand it, the DSC only sends your position to the nearest minute anyway. After that, the lifeboat have to look for you.
