GPS Plotter screen replacement

I have a Standard Horizon CP300 plotter and the screen has lots of little cracks where it has been leant on. I’ve contacted SH and the screen is no longer available. Is the plastic screen simply a piece of acrylic and assuming I can get access would it be an easy fix?
