I'm looking for a GPS or Nav repeater that has two Nmea inputs (1 for the GPS and 1 for the existing Nmea network) plus a single Nmea output.

Anyone know where I can find such a beast?
thanks

If you go upmarket to AP-Philips/Leica, they have (or at least my older Mk6 model does) two NMEA outputs and four inputs. All mine are in use - out to Autohelm interface and dGPS, and in from Wind, Log, Depth and dGPS.

Very versatile, but not cheap.

Contact Comar (UK) in the Isle of Wight, 01983 282400, to see if they have any 2nd hand units. The bossman is Peter Cotton.

regards,
Philip

Navman is New Zealand company with such a display. It accepts up to four NMEA sources. A possible limitation is that it recognizes only certain NMEA sentences. I have one for GPS repeat and it suits me. Its called Repeat3100 and you can find a lot of details in their website navman.com

Cetrek CNet 2000 Ocean will repeat just about anything and display from 1 to 4 types of reading at once in lots of different formats (ie digital or dial or graph, or those GPS rolling road diagrams). Each display has 3 NMEA inputs and 1 NMEA output combining all the inputs. There can be multiple sentence types on each input, they are all combined. It's the most versatile display head I know and Cetrek themselves are helpful with advice. You can buy just the display without any transducers, which sounds like what you need. There is a Windows simulator on their website which is fun to play with.
