I need to get a feed from this unit to my new radio, does anyone know what the colours are for the incoming GPS signal at the back of this unit?

There's a manual for some versions of AP Navigator here: http://prokyon.dk/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/AP-MK8-MK9-Installation-manual.pdf . A few pages in, it says which pins on the D-sub connector are "NMEA talker A" and "NMEA talker B", which are the ones you need.

If that's not the manual for the version you have, please either lower your mind-reading firewall a bit, or give us a clue as to what device you actually have :)

Good question, l have no idea as there is no info on the front panel or in the completely Dutch manual. 1991 is all l know! The link didn't appear, sorry prv. I'll have a look at those 'talkers' though. Thanks

If you do not find an English manual, I could help out with translating the relevant passage. Just send me a scan of the manual. PM for my e-mail

Based on the AP8, NMEA out (talker) +ve is pin 3 on the D-sub. Pin 8 is the NMEA out -ve. If connection to pin 8 doesn't work, try pin 1 instead, which is ref. gnd.
You won't blow anything up if it's wrong, (I think!!)
Other AP Navigators might be different of course.
