GPS disruption

I thought I was experiencing one of these mysterious GPS dropouts earlier this year but then I realised that the way I was slobbing in the cockpit mean't that the raymarine gps antennae had gone up my armpit, which is of course a hostile environment in it's own right. Sometimes system failures have a more down to earth explanation.

Self important theorists about solar activity thinking "Whats in it for me". If the public are genuinely afraid or fearful about the impact of solar activity effecting electronic information on earth. Then the theorists get budget increases, pay rises and job security. If they did not hype on to the media so much they would have insignificant jobs and no budgets.
