I’m in Dordrecht. A Dutchman told us yesterday that it been fixed and he was now able to head north.

Loved Durgerdam. V quiet, good pub, about 20mins on hired bike into central Amsterdam.

Detour via Hook and Ijmuiden completed. Ended up in Hoorn and coincidentally did visit Durgerdam to sit out mini gale. Great spot and very amenable harbourmaster. Wouldn't of minded a few days in Dordrecht either.
Great to hear bridge hopefully sorted (albeit I haven't seen any news items) and I will have to do that bit of the trip in a few months.

I have the Vaar water app which said "catastrophe" just after the incident. That note now removed so assume it's OK.
