Got the thing shifted

What a lovely if busy weekend, turned up at Shotley and got the boat ready, quick whizz down the Wallet =, over the Spitway and up the Crouch and took up our new parking space at Fambridge in time for lunch. We were made to feel most welcome by the marina staff, club people and North Fambridge Yacht Club members, so much so that we filled the form it to join there and then, I think we are going to like it down here, a shorter drive from home and some nice local stuff to do when pressed for time. The journey down was so nice, bright, cold and we must have counted at least 25 charter fishing boats anchored up and loads of small private boats fishing too, we don't see that many boats around in the height of the season. Woke this morning to a frozen over marina!

A mate of mine was talking about cutting a y piece into his heater ducting and sticking a length of heater hose inside his waterproofs during a tough winter trip!
