Sticky hand prints on the stainless. Tried epoxy solvent and acetone with no luck.
Should have cleaned it off before it set, but didnt.
Worried about scratching the rails with abrasives.
Any ideas welcome

Cheers

If you have a grp polishing bonnet and some Farecla G7 it will soon remove it, but might make the rest of the stainless look a little dull by comparison.

Epoxy softens and breaks down at fairly low temeratures. Might be worth trying with a variable control heat gun and a wooden scraper.

Can you heat it a bit? Would need to get it to 60degC or so but that should soften it...

Edit: Twisterowner - snap! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
