Does look good though. One problem is that it will be wired 110 volt 60 hertz, another is the Detroit engines.

I thought the reserve prices seemed a little high

£330 for that 1990 grand banks was way over the top. especially as it will be bought as seen

Yes, the one I posted was the only one that caught my eye, there are auctions and auctions I suppose. Sothebys or a Disposal sale. Different intentions in each case.

On the other hand all boats are in the buyer beware area so providing they are surveyed I don't suppose it matters much whether you buy through a broker or an auction. It talks somewhere about "sealed bids", so perhaps it's more of an offer than an auction and nothing to stop one putting in lower than minimum bids. If nobody else bids, who knows what might happen?

I dunno. The GB certainly seems high but some of the US tackle (eg the Searays) seems cheap at least compared to what they seemed to be priced at here but then you have to factor in transport, VAT, CE certification, voltage change etc etc
