I looked at that. The nearest Calor gas depot is about 100 miles away!

I've done it.
Don't think it will make any difference as calor gas have set themselves on the route to self destruction.
If I ever need bulk lpg they would be the last that I would approach now.

Completed survey. I don't think it will make a blind bit of difference. I do wonder what the size of the uk market is for the 4.5kg bottles, these coukd all be potential Flogas or Camping Gaz new customers. I suppose Calor Gas don't care.

Calor now owned by a Dutch gas company. Parent company decided they wanted to sell more gas, so get rid of the small cylinders and everyone can use the large ones and less work re-filling small cylinders.

Likewise I am now set on the path of continuing to fill my small Calor bottles from larger Flogas ones.

They have badly miss read the market here and I hope it bites them very hard in the bum and they cease to be the largest bottled gas supplier.

Hardly an unbiased survey - eg a question response of - “Buy smaller and much more expensive Campingaz bottles”

Please supply your maths of
(1) how much extra ££ per season you would spend on gas by switching to Camping Gas? and
(2) what percentage this represents of a typical annual boat running costs?

I know that it is annoying that Calor Gas have done this. But is it worth getting quite so worked up over something which for most of us would be an additional annual cost of less than one tank of diesel. Worse things happen at sea.

TBF, one tank of diesel is around £700 for me.
