Anyone know what the cost of one of these moorings might be for a 40 foot yacht?

I intend to call the office tomorrow, but am curious. TIA. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think the moorings are banded rather than a fixed price per foot. We pay £1600 for a mooring to fit our 37' boat.
Problem is that there aren't too many moorings left for that size without having to spend a couple of years in the group they have in the entrance to Portchester creek. That's OK other than from July onwards the seagulls use the boats as a toilet - well, they did ours!
Other than that it all works fine with a ferry to run you out to the boat.

Hope that helps,

Piddy

My bill this year was for around £1800. That is for 12 months mooring, which is approved of by most insureres (do tell them though) and includes an all year round ferry service.

I think I scraped in on the last mooring available, but you never know....

Good luck
