Gorilla Glue How good/removal?

Can be removed before it sets, details on bottle (one of the solvents/white spirit?), but once its gone off it sticks like the proverbial [--word removed--] to blanket.

Great glue for a marine environment as it sticks almost anything to anything, need to wear gloves when using it, glue takes about a month to get off your skin, sets due to damp and will stick damp or wet woods.

A common mistake people make is to use it as a gap filling glue - its not designed to take up any more of a gap than normal glue.

Also can get same stuff cheaper from any timber merchants under brands such as Balcotan (see here for description.

Excellent glue, especially for damp timber, but in my experience nothing like as strong as epoxy resin or Aerolite.

Not being as strong is an advantage in applications where the joint surfaces are large - it is much easier to scrape off the excess (better to wait until it's gone off completely) and get a nice tidy finish.

I was introduced to it by a builder. He made quite a mess of my slate floor with it (couldn't use a scraper without damaging floor). I asked him how he got it off his clothes. He said wear old ones and throw them away.
