Google Rivers!?

This idea concerns me from a security point of view. As a moorer at a private club the issue of criminal elements using this Google view of the river to spot nice pickings is a concern. Whilst it is also an issue with property on streetview, our boat is not occupied for a much larger percentage of the week than a house. We have already had problems this year with boats on our moorings being entered from the river side - fortunately nothing being taken - but it does make you wonder if they were just having a look to return at a later date. What do others think? A nice idea for the 99% of the population who want to have a look at the river - but an easy way for the criminal fraternity to spot easy pickings?

Don't be silly - how is this any more unsecure than a criminal getting on a boat and looking by river?
