We had a visit from some interested buyers yesterday. Charisma looked great the sun was out and their journey from Wales had gone well and they made good time.
Now waiting for a follow up call to hopefully start the negotiating.
Looking for advice re selling own boat and paperwork. Have downloaded the RYA docs, anyone got any thoughts on this part of the process? Not wishing to tempt fate of course.

When I was selling and being paid by bankers draft I asked the purchaser for details of the draft and then rang the issuing bank for confirmation that it was genuine. Getting the money is more important than the selling paperwork, any deficiences in which can be put right later (buyer beware etc).

Bah Bah,
Have been informed although the prospective buyers think our yacht is in great shape and good order but they want to race and changes to the furling system and purchase of racing sails prevents a sensible offer.
I know our Sadler 32 is quick 14hrs to Blankenberge but I wouldn't have entered many races seriously being twin keeled. We are set up for cruising.
The quest continues.

Thanks Will. No luck for you then obviously. We have decided to list her with Clipper as tey know us and the yacht. We are too far away to manage viewings without £100 fuel round trip!
Your rib should go as it is in great condition.
Keep the faith.
