Good Value Boat heaters

Looks like part one of the evaluation has failed miserably ... Prompt delivery from UK stock - promised delivery last Wednesday 7th. Still waiting with baited breath to receive it.

I suggested misleading UK buyers with false advice of a packages location being in the UK (or is there a Liverpool in China too ?) would not help this seller with future sales. I got this response, which I thinks decodes as it was in Liverpool, but had to go to Southampton via Beijing !

Hey ho.

hi friend,
we sent it from Liverpool, but that the item you bought is on good sale that time ,so we had to send it in order as principle,so maybe it was delayed to ship and arrive, hope you could understand us.could you wait another some days? Sorry. pls don't worry , we will take full responsibility for that if you still not receive it.thanks
Have a nice day!

Mine is now with Royal Mail - at Princess Royal RDC, delivery in 2-3 days on Royal Mail Tracked 48 apparently.

Yippee !

Interesting that according to eBay it now despatched on 18th December (today), but remains due to arrive 12th December !

Just heard our polish built genuine Eberspacher to replace the ancient and defunct d4 has arrived on the mainland and will be here on IOW tomorrow and fitted in next 7 days. Yippee except for the huge cost of around £3000 installed. I chose to throw money at getting a guaranteed working reliable solution as fast as possible, so have probably wasted a bunch of beer tokens whilst remaining in SWMBO's relatively good books whilst living with a small fan heater through a cold spell pro tem.

So original or copy all take time to arrive and delivery date runarounds abound..

It arrived at my office this morning. Apparently the box is very damp !

Anyway I will see for myself tomorrow what has turned up.

Ours arrived midday with two guys to install it. Had to fit a new exhaust skin fitting as different size from original, also replaced some ducting and complete exhaust, with silencer, that came with the kit. Fired up instantly and rapidly brought temp up to cosy 22C super nesat installation so very pleased so far, thanks guys at Cowes Marine Electrics!:encouragement:

For some reason one end of the box was saturated, but no apparent damage to the heater inside with its full complement of accessories, including an IR remote controller fob.

Watch this space for further feedback on how I get on with it. I expect the workshop test will be at least Sunday on account of a completely decimated 12v DC distribution system that requires reinstating, which will keep me busy most of Saturday. This will include a suitable feed and return for the new heater to the intended mounting position from the dedicated supply breaker.

Ordered a 5KW one on the 17th and they gave a delivery date of the 27th, it turned up today intact and undamaged, everything was there.
I've just got to wait for a quiet day at work and I'll get it up and running.
I did trawl through the sellers and found the one with the least bad reviews (he had no negative feedback).

Well as I did the original post and mine never turned up (I did get a refund) I have just ordered one from your link above..... Lets see how I do

Unlike Dennis, mine did arrive about a week or so late, but intact apart from a saturated box.

Anyway I connected it all together this afternoon and once primed off it went.

It did take about 5 start attempts to drag the fuel through ~ 6m of pipe runs (3m each side of the the pump).

I understand there is a setting that can be made to just run the pump for priming, but I couldn't get passed the menu where a service provider id is required - any ideas what the default PIN may b please

Well documented on FB "Chinese Heaters" with loads of info if things are not quite right! As instructions are in Chinglese and can be difficult to follow!
The one I purchased came from Singapore and had a hiccup but a £30 refund and assistance from said forum sorted the problem! So a good little heater cost me £102! You can purchase a gas tight silencer from a firm on Ebay will post source later!

Item number on Ebay 173599730087 From Southern Lasers in Chard Somerset, A well finished effective silencer. A good mfg company to deal with!
