I think what you have achieved in last 48 hours outdoes the discomfort of Alchemist being the only boat to get to Burnham two years ago. Baton passed to Bru!

It should, in fairness, be said however that my primary motivation was escaping from the clutches of the Solent before my bank account was totally empty! Making it to the supper was an added bonus
It was a hell of a trip and very satisfying but would I do it again? No bloody fear! In the height of summer with warm nights it would be fun but it was the cold that got to both of us especially during the night.

Oh and we had a cracking sail back to Fambridge on Sunday too!
