No help required.. :) Had a cracking sail back from the Anchorage this morning.

Snapdragon 23 triple-keel with well aged sails and an avon dinghy/outboard in tow, with a little tide assistance managed 7.5kts on the GPS on a broad reach.. Without surfing on a run, I think that's the fastest the ol girl has ever displayed on the screen.

I know it's a bit of a nonsense thread but sometimes with all the hassles of getting the boat sorted then having what seems like half a year of snow, you can get a bit disheartened on this sailing lark.

Today was one of those days that I remembered why I like sailing. A good 'hoof' down the river. :)
 
And a couple of days with ten knot plus maxes showing on the log has brightened me up a bit. Speed through the water that is, and yes, wave assisted.

It's the kind of thing that has me giggling like a school kid. Addictive though. Starts giving me ideas of one of those carbon masted racy type boats :D
