Big Nige also good but sometimes difficult to get a reponse.
 
Big Nige has failed to return 4 phone calls from me and several from the marina - just TRYING to get him to come and quote. He's obviously very good because he is so busy. I assume that's the reason. On the other hand Mike at Atlantic rigging provides some of the best customer service I've encountered.
 
Used Rig Magic last year to replace standing rigging. Job done well, but tried to charge for refitting spreader covers which I thought a bit much since they removed them to do the job! Liked Big Nige, but his people leave a lot to be desired on the customer service front. Didn't finish up with a warm feeling which is a pity. I think they are a bit spoilt.
 
I have time for Big Nige, but he does have a lot of other interests in his life....

Look up Sailspar at Colchester (travel all over the area) Did a forestay for me last autumn - carefully and professionally installed. Best price too. Strongly recommended - call Dave on 01206 251348 and website.

2nd Sailspar... Last quote I had from Rig Magic needed a very large scotch! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Sailspar @ about 50% of original quote! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif by the way totally off subject, but had a chat with Chris French to-day re: recent comments....reckoned o/p was quoted for a full service!?
 
Thanks again everybody. Will probably try Sailspar first as we are moving to live in Brightlingsea. We already have Sailspar headsail furling which has worked very well.
