I understand most marinas do not allow liveaboards. Are there any exceptions you would recommend?
Me and my wife we intend to move our boat to the UK this summer and spend some months there.
We could use a liveaboard-friendly marina that's inexpensive as well.
Many thanks for any suggestions.

Ipswich under the former management would turn a blind eye even to plants in pots on deck, but I understand that times have changed.

Don't think you will find it too difficult to live on your boat in most marinas for relatively short term. The objection is to permanent residents. Your biggest challenges will be cost and availability as summer short term rates will be high wherever you go for obvious reasons. 3 month and 6 month winter rates are lower.

Are you insisting on a marina berth as offItchenor are public moorings and only a dinghy ride ashore where ther are toilets and a shower, pleanty of sheltered water and changes of scene and always activity afloat. We used to book in to the Chichester marina for going shopping or use their luxuary heated shower rooms once a week ,a bus ride into Chichester city
