Hard to decide down here.
Will be popping down my club this evening of course nor sure which of the items normally on the menu to have.....perhaps the Braised Steak or the Sea Bass or perhaps the Lamb Shank or maybe even the Liver n Onions or mmmm the TexMex or Lamb Pasanda....or could be a really tight so and so and have the ENOURMOUS bit of Cod with homemade chips
What would you do ?

Twas lamb steak with mash followed by apple and blackberry crumble and a pint of 1664.

Well, for an AGM, there was a goodly crowd turned up to see most of the silverware handed out to an exalted few (congrats to No_Regrets and Ramage/Rebellion - think they'd arrange a security guard to escort John and Claire home !
No_Regrets needs keeping an eye on - he landed up with the Magazine Editor's job - rather worrying possibilities there I fear.
Fish and chips were fine, company was good. home soon after 11pm and cost less than £15 including drinks.
Oh, and we weren't kicked out of OUR clubhouse like a certain other GOG here was 'cos the place was empty!

I wuz cheated!
The Commodore clearly asked for a 'Head Hitter' but I misread his broad Watford accent, and didn't dream he wanted a minor newspaper mogul!
