Good idea for fuel filtering?

http://store.shurhold.com/Fuel-Filter-Funnel-s/8.htm&click=651 seems like a good simple idea for pre filtering fuel if you're concerned about debris or water contamination. Anyone got one of these?

I used to use one, but found the flow rate was incredibly, painfully, indescribably, slow..so slow, I gave it up.....life's too short!

You can get these from ASAP under the racor filters, very good for outboards.

I got one, used it once. It is a bit slow but perfectly acceptable to me, surprising ammount of diesel left in it though.

I've got 2 of them. Work well as a filter, not noticed that they are slow but there is a small but annoying amount of diesel left in them after use.

I use one all the time. Can't say It's slow mine does about 20L a minute. There is a small amount of fuel left in the filter, it could contain water. I tip the leftovers into a clean drum and when I have a decent amount I filter it into the tank. I got mine from ASAP as well. If you buy one be sure to check what size the filter is (microns). I have seen them from 5 to 140 microns.
