Good eateries in Cowes

Had a meal with another fellow forumite and his wife this evening @ Coast to Coast and I must say the service was absolutely diabolical and the staff lacked front off house skills - We all had traditional roast beef Sunday Roast - They run out off horseradish and all our plates had different cuts of beef so was obviously put together with left overs + 3 tiny roast potatoes each - Lorraine asked for more horseradish and was quote from one of the staff if I must go upstairs....

I had Eaton Mess with cherries which were not de-stoned - luckily I did not break a tooth - Why was I not advised the cherries had stones in beforehand.

I shall be speaking to the owners tomorrow as this is not on - Rant over off to Honfleur tomorrow :encouragement:

Shame about Coast Terry. When we ate there, it was great. Obviously need to work on their consistency.
We've chosen Murrays this time round as our guests are fish fanatics.
