I have resigned as a Moderator of the YBW Forums. From day one I was probably too laid back for the job and unable to take many matters seriously. This has put me at loggerheads with my compatriots on more than one occasion.
There is no animosity involved and I am parting on good terms.

thank you for being "laid back", some took it far too seriously & imo the whole member Mod idea was doomed to fail & you 3 brave , if misguided souls took the stick for those in the Co who failed to manage the forum.
It is difficult the run with the horse & the hounds as FC found out.
NTL has no moderation & doesnt need it as no ( changed ) boundaries push at, unlike the YBW of a couple of yrs ago when inexperienced young ladies we in charge & RS bought a new coat.

Not entirely true....

One had been a sergeant, and another officially 'had no rank'. For all their respective merits, that task was a 'poisoned chalice' that some were more than keen to quaff.

Perhaps that shining piller of rectitude, Viago, might get the call from on high. Now there's someone with thick skin, is immune to abuse and blandishments alike, and who enjoys 'rolling up the proverbial sleeves' to taking a recalcitrant pos(t)er to task.
