Don't buy the special Gold Members flag. We did and I'm embarrassed to fly it. It's a really cheap bit of tat.

Hang around a bit longer and when everybody is a Gold member they will introduce a platinum card, just like the credit card companies. Then you will know you have really made it.

Your post made me get my wallet out and look at my membership card.

Its says "RYA Instructor, Gold member".

I'd never noticed.

With Bishop Skinner Insurance it gives you protected no claims bonus which I have found quite helpful....
