Interesting thread, from what I have smelt and driven the vehicles running round on pre used or fresh veg oil are older bangers used on local short trips and due to fail the next mot anyway so glazed bores/dodgy fuel pump not really an issue as the vehicle is getting close to disposable anyway.

I wouldnt want to try it in a boat engine where the boat is far from disposable.

I think you are spot on. The only cars I have every seen running on the stuff are old bangers...... probably tells the story.

THANKS GUYS .......thats the sort of info that i was after...it was not a case of "spercificly" boat, car, truck fuel, BUT, as ENGINE fuel in general...my problem was, that as diesel engines all work on BASICLY the same principle, my peasized brain could,nt workout why some would work n some wont or cant !!!........ANY MORE THOUGHTS please throw them in...MORE THE BETTER !!!
