We're planning a little jaunt from Bray, starting Friday lunchtime, so if any other forumites are unlucky enough to see us, don't forget to Hoot! :)

Looking for some nice places to stop, the first being around 4 hours from Bray, the following around 8 hours from the first!

Tell me about it!

We did venture up to Cookham last Sunday with a boatload of alcoholics mind you... :)

I'll keep my eyes out for the lovely Shirlian, hopefully we'll meet in a lock where you can't outrun me!

Catching Nick won't be much of a problem though, especially if he uses the same Fuel as Ramage ROFL

We're going up for a day and a half, and back down for a day and a half. That way we usually end up roughly where we started, and don't have to call the coastguard...

Ah but have you taken the tidal flow into account when doing your passage plan calculations, you could find yourself going further one way than the other!

Sadly, We're banned from Windsor, Windsor racecourse, Penton hook, Chelsea...

I'm waiting to be evicted from bloody Bray :(

Nowhere in the Marina handbook did it say anything about Dogging not being allowed...

Best laid plans etc etc John ?

We were at Bray late FRiday afternoon expecting to see your berth deserted but no - No Regrets was still there all tucked up and lonely.

Anyways, we did see you eventually when you passed us at WIndsor on Sunday morning so glad to see you still know how to drive ..... :D

I feel a little sorry for Nickred and Brayman - all the unnecessary angst you must have caused them thinking you might turn up !

We looked out of the window on Friday, and saw Rain, and a Hot Tub.

On balance the Hot tub won, and so we waited until Sunday first thing. The Dogs get a little cooped up when it rains!

A lovely little trip though, down to Staines, where we moored up alongside a pretty little park and playground for some lunch, then back to Windsor for the night.

The dogs loved the meadow!

Nice to see Tony on the way down, resplendent upon the Gleaming Leg-end with her shiny new 'gel coat' (hee hee) and Inlandnewbie with his lovely new Wife!
We were going to pop in and ask you in for a drink at sundown, but you left! Have to be quicker next time...

So we were running for nothing :-) Hopefully see you soon.

Had a great week, visited Byron, got up to Abingdon, lazy days on the way up and the river was so quiet, hard to believe it was August.

I waved at everyone so if I did see you and did not recognise your boats apologies, hopefully I waved wildly. Did not see another forum burgee all week :-(

unfortunately back home, was out 7 days then younger son aged 12 started to get withdrawal symptons from his x box :-) Was a great week though, shame we missed you

Have fun, where abouts are you now?

Nick
