Going to London

Seriously, well done. Did I miss anything out about the trip, the London eye is amazing, but a bit rough on the water. Now you have done it once, you can do it again. Even show others how easy it is, given a powerful enough boat that is reliable and a radio.
Did you enjoy the trip? Next time you do it, ring me and I will tell you where you can moor up without going into a marina. Again, well done.

Limehouse Charges and Tidal Trip last weekend

We went down from Teddington to Limehouse on Saturday afternoon and I am fairly confident I gave and received a wave from Salty Sealine who was punching the tide towards Teddington.

In answer to Teddingtons lock's question it was choppy in London Saturday afternoon !!

Had a great couple of days at Limehouse and I asked the lock charges question in the marina office.

The origional proposal was to charge non BW registered craft £40 per lock [both in and out]

I was then advised that this idea had been scrapped on the basis that it would virtually stop non BW craft from entering Limehouse visa the tidal river.

Lets hope that remains the case
