going to France docs

Sorry, this is dead boring and we have been many times, but we have a new( old, 1984) boat, what is the current requirement for docs on board when going to France. We have:
passports,
bill of sale,
LLoyds registry
ICC.
insurance,
RYA certificates
VHF licence

Surely that's enough?

Don't forget, routing via the CI, your obligations to Customs and Excise - or they may remind you in France.

You say 'Lloyd's Registry' - do you mean a certificate of British registry (part 1 or SSR)?

If not, you need one.

Agree, but ever known them to specificaly target from CI? Spot checks quite likely in France anytime though.

Your list should be enough, assuming by Lloyds Registry you mean your Part 1 Registration Papers (Blue Book as was, now cheapo laminated sheet) or the cheaper SSR document. You should not need the ICC or RYA Certs. All documents must be the originals and not photocopies because whilst our Gallic friends are keen on multiple paperwork they like to create their stock themselves from the originals.

Yes certificate of British registry, now in a laminated sheet replacing the old Blue book, with an official number and a plaque on the boat. Are we OK?
