"I thought the rock was the Mewstone"

It is - but which one? Outside Dartmouth or Newton Ferrers?

(I'm keeping shtumm - I grew up there . . . )

Well I never set off with a Where is it.. But did hint on locals keeping quiet.

Unfortunatly Talisman seems to have disappeared, else it's metamorphised into a mobo fishing boat. There is no mast showing.

I fort you said you were moving cos of the smoke and dogs peeing on your lines. Have you gone, or did Bobby remove you for insolence. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

oops.. sorry bout that....

There were some hints that we might be moved.... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Well i guess that means I can cancel my trip down for Tuesday.....

SWMBO is off to the Galapagos on Tuesday for a couple of weeks.... she is swanning around the place on a 90 foot motor yacht...

I OTH will be taking care of the dog. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Well you know M Farter, the odd F97 dont bother her alot. It's just us pentioners that get a bit timid with little lumps. The brand new aft bilge pump let us down crossing the sound, which set off the massive claxton. Both me and Debs hand pumped manfully. So went up the Yelm and then set off for
Fowey. Bloke came once back inPlymouth. Think there replacing the float switch next week. Mind the othere blokes coming and taking the covers off, yep I know I've got all weather decks, but wish fluff did not block the lumber holes so easy. Might even drill the sink strainers out, any comments??

Left Fowey in a F6, reported wind at the time 23 knots.

Flat calm, piece of piss. Yesterday wonderfull. Today total crap again.

Yesterday was awfull, the Pont Aven was 5 hours late docking, listened to Long Room guiding her in calling out the wind speed, the captain said he could cope up to 30knt but Long Room reported gusts up to 55knts so they decided to go back out into the Sound and wait it out. Rather them then me.

Today has been great, sunshine all day, wind has got up now but still a fantastic evening.
