I went aboard the Nancy Blackett at the last Portsmouth International Festival Of The Sea ( and will we ever have another IFOS ? ) - a real treat, the first of Arthur Ransomes' books I read - and I think the best - was ' We Didn't Mean To Go To Sea '.
