Glueing teak to teak

Youve got a lot of conflicting advice here, so who's do you chose, for what its worth I'll ad mine.
I've glued up tuns of teak probably 4 or 5 tuns including cockpit tables,
Epoxy is the glue of choice if I want it to stay stuck
Prepare the surfaces by sanding against the grain with 80 grit paper, then wipe vigorously with acetone on a clean rag.
Knock up the epoxy of choice using colloidal silica and microfibres, fairly sloppy if a good joint, stiffer if it isnt.
Don't clamp or screw it too tight or you'l starve the joint,
Scrape of excess glue using a chisel shaped soft wood scraper.
Sand 120 then 240 grit, 2 coats of epoxy coating, sand again 240 grit then 4 coats alkyd varnish of choice.
Then make a cover for it.

Boys and girls,

Any recommendations for prep and adhesive?

Old grandpa!

I have used Semparoc (also recommended by someone else on here) to make Tigger's cockpit table. It has worked great for the last 4 seasons... the table has been damaged by some rather rough treatment courtesy of some charterers, but the wood trimmings (fiddles) broke before the glue did, no screws were used in this project.
