Hi all, quickie, is it possible to stick PVC fittings to an Avon Hypalon dinghy and if so what glue would be best??

I dont think so. PVC and Hypalon use different adhesives but it might be worth scouring the Polymarine website for advice .... or contacting them.
Somebody will probably suggest CT1 before the end of the evening

PVC adhesive and Hypalon fabric (and vice versa) are not compatible but a successful bond can be achieved by: First, prepare the fabric patch. For a PVC fabric patch or handle etc; clean/prime the [to be] glued face of the PVC fabric with MEK solvent (or you can use acetone) and then allow to dry.

There is a 2 part flexible epoxy which works with both. Available in small tubes. Only thing that worked when I needed to glue the rowlock back on.

It is good stuff. Mask off when in use as it is a total b****** to get off when set. Ask me how I know this.
