I seem to recall once seeing an epoxy type glue that worked on damp timber - although I might have been thinking of a wood hardener. Does anyone know of any timber bonding agent suitable for use in a damp marine environment?

Thanks!

I yhink that you will find that epophen is a resocinal glue, which is not the same thing at all.
It used to be called cascophen and will not glue even damp wood.
You need a D4 rated glue that is moisture curing ie balcotan or one of its derivetives.

International Paint Universal Clear Primer is a moisture cured urethane that may be easier to find than Balcotan. Not sold as a glue but makes a fantastic bond on damp wood - not wet though.
