Probably this life Gludy :-) Actually it's all fine. I'm getting the hang of crutches and nip up and down stairs now with no trouble. I'm doing a factory visit to Fairline next week which will involve lots of "obstacle course" items.

Warning noted, but still looking forward to your pics. You're in gorgeous sailing waters there. Hope all goes well with the boat snagging work

Hi Paul

Stunning voyage, great report, and I hope all continues to go well ... please, please keep up the posts !

Mid-Walians who love boats (and fishing) are few and far between !

The problem is that I am now a 100 per cent raggie but feel more at home in the mobo than other forums! forums.

Here is a story that will bring a tear to many an eye....

Met a MoBo here in Grenada going by the name of Diesel Duck - has a range of about 4000 miles at about 6 knots. We are just north of Venezuela but the problem in going there is security - pirates etc. Even going to Trinidad just 60 miles away is a problem as pirates now hang out there, the problem will grow until pirates world wide are punished .... but I digress. Diesel Duck know a fairly safe part of venezuela and heads down there just to fill up with fuel. His last fill was 3000 litres and guess how many USA dollars that cost him?

......
$30 yes that is right thirty dollars or about £20.
So that MoBo manages some mighty cheap cruising!!!

We just had another MoBo jarrive in the marina yesterday - a MoBo cat - he has come from sail and just uses it to travel between the islands.

We are probably stuck here another week sorting out the next batch of problems with the boat - we will get there with this one but the mistakes are really stupid - but they still have to be sorted. We much prefer to be at anchor in a bay somewhere - the next bay to us is huge but empty - we would be the only ones there. The reason is that there is really nothing ashore but sometimes that is just what we want.

We will head around to a small bay called True Blue soon so that I can take my PADI diving course there.

End of ramble....

A deserted beach and a private swim - Grenada

Watch out for the spiny normans, that looks just like the beach where i stood on one, and still have the tip of the spine to prove it. Local kids laughed when they saw me hobble ashore and offered to pee on my foot, which isn't an offer you get every day.
