Ahem, unlike some poor b****rs,nasty red eye dawn departure easy jet from Crapwick or Thiefrow will not be needed to get to our boats over the weekend.
High tides round midday so up at the crack of lunchtime and slow drive to uncover best beloved for run out.Nice attractive weather girly ses weather rubbish for sailors cos no wind, but watch out for sunburn.
What with r*d d**s*l being so cheap here in UK/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif.Why go anywhere else?

Aargh - he almost mentioned those dreaded words. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Trust me to look at weather prediction last weekend and decide this one was a good time to go see some relatives.

Never mind, at least I can get out on Sunday.

I'm heading East on the Solent this weekend just for a change and going round to look at Ventnor Haven. Weather looks great.

Well B***ery Bo***cks!!!

Here am I sat at home unable to go to Gib, 'cos work gets in the way and unable to go to my own boat 'cos of family commitments.

The weather is good and calm and I have this hankering to pack work in all together and have the summer off!!

Nish! - don't ya just hate it when a plan doesn't come together.

Typical, best weekend of the year so far and we are stuck at home. Engineer chappy working on engines all week and announces on Friday that having removed the flexible fuel lines to get new ones (blinkin' boat safety - been there for 25 years but apparantly not good enough) the suppplier can't get all the bits untill next week (supplier normally carries them as stock so problem not anticipated0.

Just to top it off, went to stay on the boat Friday night but came home yesterday 'cause I woke up Saturday morning feeling like s**t - got flu or some similalry unpleasant ailment. Marvellous!!

NOw don't knock suppliers. Unfortunately the guy delivering the 2 tons of ballast adn 20 odd bags of cement was unable to do so on Thursday; which meant I was unable to do the stuff in the garden so I had to take my youngest down to Poole as she was bored and threatening to be a right pain at home.

What a shame.

Only problem turned out to be a bit embarrassing when we ran out of Mountgay around 1830 on Saturday night in Studland and Wiggo just pulled in and popped over to say hello to Geoffs and others rafted up.. Fortunately still had other brands to offer but not the same....../forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Sometimes you just get lucky; however I have made damm certain that I can get the job finished this coming weekend!
