or perhaps not so glorious, but then doing something different each day does make life that much more enjoyable. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'll be popping out into the Solent this afternoon/evening to collect some crew off a "small" boat . It's currently off Dover so I may get some shots before it gets dark!

I'm told it has a pilot ladder and a few odd and sods like a 250hp bow thruster. I think it will be needed as the wind forcast is a little "interesting"

Hey ho. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Same as temperature. This morning it was "quite parky" reducing as the sun got up to "fairly parky". /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm sure I looked yesterday and the forecast was brisk in the Solent this pm but looking this morning it seems to be predicting less wind than it was.

I hope the owner's not reading this. Chartering a mobo to come and collect crew, when she has a perfectly good crew tender? :-)

Giving Northerlies 21 to 31 mph lessening to 16mph by 1800 and 14mph by 2100 but the gusts could be up to 25mph visibility moderate becoming good .
So could be interesting weather as the old fella say's
depends on where they rendevous and sea state at the time.
I shall be tucked up indoors in a nice heated classroom.

Just been informed that she should be in at around 16.00. Might just get some pix before the light goes. The she heads down to Gibralter. It's engineers from the builders that I'm picking up.

Thermals packed! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
