Glomex TV Antenna (Any good)

Got Glomex on current boat and had one on the last boat. Both rubbish - rarely got good reception.

Got one - no problems, good reception, having in mind that it's a unidirectional antenna, not like the ones back home pointing at the tranceivers!!!

Ther is more than one model of Glomex antennae. Mine has a built in amplifier running off a 12volt supply and works extremely well, although I paid the best part of £150 for it a year ago.

Mine has the amplifier and is still crap /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif A couple of years ago some git nicked the round aerial bit, I thought Great!! buy a new one and maybe it'll work. Still crap /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I really do get a better reception with a fork stuck in the aerial socket.
