Glomex AIS antenna, wrong connector!

Bought RA111AIS yesterday, came with a connector at one end. Logic would say that this would fit to the antenna, but no! Seems they expect you to buy a BCN f to TCN m adaptor to make it fit! Why not just fit the correct connector in the first place? Or supply the adaptor? Looked for a UK phone number to ask this question but drew a blank. Leaves me feeling a bit peeved and puts me off buying any other Glomex kit.

Now left with a short length of cable with a useless connector at one end, luckily I had the correct one already on board so just had to solder it on.

Thought about that but then that means you'd have to thread the cable + connector through the deck/hull etc. That would leave a large hole! The connector is a permanent fit, it can't be undone or taken off.
